Malibu Coconut Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and blended with coconut and sugar. The brand is owned by one of the world's largest spirits producers, Pernod Ricard.
Currently produced in Canada, Malibu Coconut rum was originally made in Curaçao from fruit spirits flavored with coconut and rum. The original recipe was developed as a shortcut for bartenders making Piña Coladas, however today the stands on its own.

The taste of coconut rum is never a bad thing. But I need to drink the whole bottle before feeling remotely drunk - so sweet. Diabetes alert!!

Very light rum with flawoure of coconut. Is not typical rum, maybe more liquore.

This is a great classic coconut mixer.
You want to have a party with your friends and have some coconut cola this is it.
Want to make a pina colada this is your gal.

This can't be called a rum, mixing with some juices is drinkable otherwise not at all.
Obviously, lots of coconut flavour here. Not a sipping rum. If you're looking to make a cocktail or do some shots (and you like coconut), this is genuinely pretty decent.

I love this rum because it is great for pool parties. It mixes well in certain light and tasty hot day drinks and it is inexpensive.
