Svěžest, tráva mentol, trocha ovoce, s dlouhám divočejším dozvukem, jak to mám u bělásků rád. Hmm a taky bylinky jako ve velmi dobrém ginu.
To be expected, it’s fairly hot
But there is nice flavor, slight pastry or something, while also a bit savory or briny
L'huître du très beau Diamond Rock est ici consendée-démultipliée, le caractère très maritime de ce rhum en fait selon moi le plus singulier et caractériel de l'île avec le JM.
I have to agree with the other review that thiis rum reminds me of the salty and sweetness of shell fish. I love this rum; Ivfound a bottle in Paris after tasting it in the states, but it doesn't taste like a traditional white rum.
New distillery, tour and habitation were both nice but the place felt kitsch overall.
La Perle rum is a good agricole blanc, but still lacks the “original” grassy and soil notes that the foundation whites have. However, was pleasant in coctails.
Good batch, but lots of work ahead. Priced too high considering the quality of the product. Should put more work in product developing than in advertising.
NEZ de Folie.
Gout en deça. Très fort et peu agréable.
Une fois la bouteille vidée de moitié le gout se rapproche d'un neisson 52.5.
A suivre néanmoins.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This white rum is the first real rum distilled by this very young distillery. Based on two different sugar cane : blue & roseau (bourbon). The fermentation is carried out with three different types of yeast during 5 days. This is long compared to the usual standard of 24 to 48 hours. The nose is very fresh with sugar cane, exotic fruits and earthy notes. On the palate, the iodized side take the lead and also with metal taste. The final is more on the mollusc like the mussel (not agreed by everybody ;-))
The result is not really enthusiastic and this is the reason why A 1710 has realized a second batch that seems much more promising. We must recognize the courage of this distillery, which is very young to want to offer products in accordance with certain traditions and products. The initiative must be supported.
