45%. Nail polish / varnish on the nose. Dissipates after a bit but never really goes away. Fairly “light”; high notes with little in the way of flavor. Somewhat “industrial” tasting. Pineapples. No wood, nothing terribly interesting or delicious.
I expected more from a 12-year-old rum. It improved a bit over time but never really won me over. I didn't detect any influence from the wine cask finish. It was good, but certainly not $200 good. Overall a poor value.

Beautiful straw colour for a very vegetable and floral rum with woody notes. In the mouth, the alcohol is not too present, one remains on the same notes with a nice sweetness but with a well-structured body.
Nice sweet but not too long finish. Real rate = 7,5
