Plantation Original Dark Double Aged Trinidad & Jamaica

The aroma doesn't give much away but the flavour is delicious. It's a good seven and a half or eight but not a nine.

Warm, buttery in the mouth with a nice charred oak and banana on the palate. Burn is what to be expected for the price point. Great dark rum for mixing.

Fine to make cocktails or with apple juice. Good ratio quality price

this is the rum that has a nostalgic vibe to me. it's what I remember rum tasting like when I was younger, which is a good thing

An awesome budget(ish) rum to enjoy mixed with dry ginger...or with an ice cube. Not quite in the sipper league, but will do at a pinch. Beautiful colour and pretty well balanced with a lingering aftertaste of dark brown sugar.

My favorite budget dark rum for purely mixing. Wouldn't do neat

The smell: smoked and no sweetness at all. I expected a burning sensation but it is actually smooth and sweet. For me I think a 7 or even a 7.5.
