FAIR 9y from Belize has a unique bottle design but very bland label. Color is pure gold, surprisingly light for a 9y old rum. Smell is strong wood indicating long whisky aging. Taste test reveals a dry woody whisky like rum, but plenty of exciting flavors. Some burn at the end.
Super rum very complex made by Fair for the Belgian distributor The Nectar, this 9 Year version is 65.2% alcohol. The first nose is on the almond, the marzipan. On the second nose, notes of fruit and citrus fruit come with orange peel. In the mouth, we continue on the fruits, see the candied fruits. Superb and long finish in the mouth, it is very complex and sweet.
