I bought this bottle because I found good comments.
Price very good, less than 40€.
The color is slight dark amber, the density is perfect, great mark on the glass.
The first aroma in the nose is burned sugar, very mild, after you feel the ahlcol, slowly growing.
The fist zip in the mouth is balanced sweet, you recognize immediatly the nuts teste, little but spices and fruit undefine.
In the throught is sweet and very armonized, a pleasure, no burning in the stomace. The nuts long last... wow
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Cimborazo 12 years is a blend of traditional molasses rums fromEcuador. Its name refers to a volcano, the highest peak in the Ecuadorian Andes, Chimborazo.
On the nose, toasted barrel aromas lead the first movement. Molasses on toasted wood, walnut coated with burnt caramel, coffee and scorched spices. A vanilla and light fruity veil settles down to soothe the whole. Aeration opens up the toasted notes on roasted nuts, as well as a hint of stone fruit.
The palate is soft, rather fruity, with prunes and dark candied cherries. The rum then grabs the taste buds with slightly spicy spices, coffee and roasted nuts. The texture remains very soft and the wood gradually melts with the molasses and caramel.
The finish is rather elegant, with some orange peel and liquorice.
