Round and pleasant rhum agricole, one of my favorites from Guadeloupe. I get wood, chocolate, caramel, orange... Quite a long finish.
This rhum smells a little like bad cognac (VS or VSOP) but when it comes into your mouth it’s a complete explosion of flavours and the afterburn hang on in the same way for a long time. A favourite unquestionably.

Mahogany colour. The nose is on citrus fruits, exotic fruits, banana, a pastry side with marzipan, milk chocolate with banana. It's also floral. I opt for ylang ylang but not sure. Vanilla of course. On the palate, it is always sweet and greedy banana style that reminds the pisang Ambon green banana liqueur. The finish is always sweet more on the cuberdon. The cuberdon is a traditional candy in Belgium. Original rum.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is a fantastic and complex Rhum, from Guadeloupe. Marvellous dark amber color, smelling black chocolate and caramel, no vernix at all...Persistent into the mouth and sumptuous both during tasting and inside the glass for a long long time. There's something like Zibibbo (Moscato di Alessandria) inside and a mature stream of sugar cane but not molasses. Enjoy it with friends, at the end of a dinner, with a cold mousse of chocolate 70% and a small piece of mature pineapple. In alternative, as French people said, "le riz au lait" avec du coconut milk could be a dream. Cohiba lanceros as a probable best cigar to be coupled with this nectar.
