Rhum ordinaire pas grand chose a dire la dessus....

i tried it pure but it wasn‘t a great experience, some strange tastes i could not verify. but it was ok as a cuba libre with cola and lime, though even i already had better ones...

A blend of different aged Cuban rums up to 6 years old, flavoured with a little Muscatel wine and married for 15 days in American oak barrels before finally being filtered through carbon and silica sand.
On the nose, some Whisky notes, Sweet with notes of raisins, vanilla, molasses, orange and tobacco leaf, some tropical fruit.
Between 5-6....

Very similar to the younger abuelo rums but a little sweeter and a little more harsh. Not great straight but may be a decent mixer rum.

Aroma is dominated by alcohol smell.
On the tongue the alcohol burn is more intense than actual flavour where after a while you can feel hints of caramel.
Aftertaste is mildly sweet but too simple as is this rum as a whole.
I cannot recommmend this one

Ce.rhum est bon pour les cocktails, prenez l'elixir pour boire seul ou sur glace

Cheap sharp rum. Not my kind of taste but might be good in cocktails or on rocks.
