Not many Cachacas are available in my area, after trying 51 and Ypioca, this was the next on my list. On the nose very herbal like sugarcane juice. On the palate herbal as well, sweet, creamy, and some hints of some vegetables like yucca (cassava) or something else.
I Like the aftertaste very pleasant the herbal notes last a long time.
The Caipirinha came pretty tastily as well.
I think the aged version of this one should be pretty good if only I can find it in one of my local stores.
I searched for a Passable Cachaca to experiment with for Caipirinha's and this is what I found. It is not bad and will make a good drink. I will keep looking though because it is not quite what I was looking for. As a side note, I found a recipe for Caipirinha that involved Dragon Fruit that spot on for this brand.
Bought a bottle after reading about it. Didn't care for taste or smell at all. Ended up giving bottle away. I'll stick to my favorite rums.
A good cachaca to start with, itยดs smooth and makes good caipirinhas.
Exceptionally clean flavour, slightly earthy and aromatic. Perfect for any Cachaca occasion
This is a good choice for cocktails but, in my opinion, Novo Fogo Silver is a better option if available.
How often can you say a light rum is better than its darker brother from the same distillery. After 400+ ratings this is the first I have ever experienced this. Nose is of sour milk. Not appealing. Taste is smooth and streaky. Musty but pleasant. A little hint of Agricole style grass and earth but less bite. No finish whatsoever. Drinkable and much better than the Leblon dark.
Not having had many different cachacas, I donโt have good ground for comparison but the Leblon makes a fabulous Caipirinha !
Cheers
My first cachaca. Smells great, grassy and some vanilla. The taste is vegetal but strongly of alcohol bending towards varnish. Made a batida rosa with it, which tastes great.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is a very spicy and hot Cachaca. I would get this for my bar, but I could see it being used in a Rock of Brazil.
