With its coppery color, this rum is a real wonder. It is very complex on woody notes and dried fruits as well as floral notes. On the palate, it is very sweet with always notes of fruits like prune. It needs a long aeration. A beautiful length and always as complex, the finish is woody but the flowers are always there. The finish in cask of cognac surely gives this sweetness. Great rum. It deserves a 9.5

Intensiver Geschmack; im Abgang kommt der Alkohol zu stark zur Geltung

Man fornemmer både blomme og blomst. Mild men kraftig smag

Aged in Cognac barrel, the Longueteau Grande Reserver 2004 has a nice dark amber/copper color and looks fleshy in the glass. The nose is complex with fruity and vegetal notes. In the mounth , it is also sweet and well balanced with again some plum / prune notes. Well done !
