Kraken Black Spiced

Dlhšie som mal zálusk na odskúšanie, čítal som kopec pozitívnych hodnotení tohto lacného nápoja. Vzhľadom k novej EÚ legislatíve už moja fľaša nemá na etikete pomenovanie RUM, čiže ide o "spirit drink". Fľaška naozaj originálna, farba netradičná, hnedo-čierna. Vôňa veľmi sladká, dominuje čokoláda, marcipán, slivky, hrozienka a klinčeky. Až má človek pocit, že ide piť presladený likér. Nie je to však celkom tak, chuťovo je Kraken síce sladší, no stále dosť piteľný (v prvom momente ma napadla paralela s oveľa drahším Bumbu). Záver žiaľ ultra krátky, drevené tóny len stopové. Nejde o moju šálku kávy (hlavne tie klinčeky), musím však uznať, že za dané peniaze človek dostane relatívne veľa hodnoty. Mojej polovičke celkom chutil, no praví rumani budú určite ohŕňať nos. Už z princípu nemôžem hodnotiť lepšie ako 5.

For most reasons this rum should check off most of my boxes. It's a good bit sweeter than most and is easy to access for most. But like other reviews I've seen, there is some spice in this rum that just does not jive with me. It's not bad qt all in coke or other mixers I just would not look for this when there are other options available at a gathering. A part of me wishes the connection would be there, but I have to pass most of the time.

A nice spiced rum. Tastes of molasses, coffee and spice. Recommend with your favorite mix.

Way too sweet. I prefer sailor Jerry or Captain Morgan over this.

For being a bit of a stronger and cheaper rum you would expect this to not be smooth. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth it was. Great for mixing and can even be had neat! this is my preference over the other standard brands you get at this price point (Captain, Bacardi, Appleton).

This is a fine rum to mix. Affordable. Sweet. Molasses forward. There are far better options for a dark rum, but this is not the worst.

Kraken has a great taste but can be slightly harsh. Great for mixing.

A nice drink mixed with coke,ice and a lime and also works well with ginger beer (and ginger monster). Nice to keep in the collection but nothing special.

Strong in alcohol and strong in flavour. Caramel/vanilla aromas come in the nose right after the strong alcohol smell. All in all okey rum.

Prvi rum koji sam pio. Od njega je sve krenulo... bogata sladna aroma i alkoholna mekoca jednoatavno su odusevili.
