Kraken Black Spiced

Pleasant dark rum, but a little too sweet for more than a couple of sips.

Dark and robust, and great with coffee. Not as good as Gosling Black Seal but I'll drink this any day.

Solid spiced rum for the price. Doesn't have a super strong finish but is quite nice to enjoy neat or in a dark and stormy for some added spice

Kraken is a traditional rum distilled in Trinidad and Tobago. After spending 24 months in oak barrels, the rum is embellished with a mixture of more than ten spices which macerate before packaging.
On the nose, it is a real spiced Dark Rum. You can smell caramel, cloves and vanilla.

In the mouth it is quite smooth and sugary with a lot of spices. Caramel, cloves, vanilla and more.
The finish is long on spices and vanilla.

Not too bad for a sipping rum, on the other hand it is an excellent rum for cocktails. I take it regularly for parties.

Has a very vanilla forward flavor. Not what I expected from a rum this dark.

Good middle of the way spiced rum. Can be had neat or mixed.

Spiced rumy mam celkom rad, ale s tymto si veru nerozumiem. Nepochopitelne vysoke skore

Its a good recipe rum, and by that I mean holiday egg nog etc, but I wont do it as a sipping rum with my cigar.
