Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

Sa couleur foncée au reflet acajou nous rappelle l'encre du monstre. Nez herbacé presque médicinal. Bouche épicée, fruits rouges. final long gras et doux.Bon en cocktail ou simplement avec un zest d'orange. Beaucoup de caramel.
I love the taste of caramel. Everybody Need this stuff 😜

This rum lags character. It's to soft for me. But the price is good dough.

Caramell! A lot of it ! Needs a soft drink to balance it. Salty one. Dark n stormy works well with this one
As the title says, it's cheap and good for mixed drinks. Makes a very nice rum and coke. Has a very sweet vanilla-y flavor. Straight up it has a bit of a bitter aftertaste which just comes from that sweetness, so I would never just want to just sip on it. Comes in two different ABVs; 35% and 45% (I believe). I've had both, prefer the 35%. Simply because when having a mixed drink I usually shoot for 12-15% ABV and with the 45% I'm stuck either making a terribly boozy rum and coke or a flavorless one.
Edit* drank a little more of the 45%, can't stand it. Used it to start a fire. 8/10 on the 70 proof.

The taste of Kraken is very similar to CM Black Spiced although it is a bit more expensive (bottle for 20-25eur).
Also good choice for straight up (just like CM Black Spiced).
Love this stuff. Always in Ssock and common carried.

Ça goûte beaucoup la vanille, très épicé. C est un rhum fort en alcool 50%. Je le bois avec du coke. Pas mauvais mais on se tanne du goût a la longue.
