Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

Pretty good rum, navy style, nice bottle. Too spicy for me but that makes it a bit special

I have 18 Rums in my collection and this is one of the cheapest. In a blind tasting of all of them recently with 4 of us marking this came out in 6th place (beating some costing over 3 times as much). Used to mix this, now I sip it

I got this rum as a gift because i would never buy a dark rum for myself, but when i tasted it i suprised me alot. It's not as strong as i was expecting and the taste was just great. This is probably my second favorite rum to mix with dark cola.
This rum had a distinctive aroma that was not too pleasing to the nose. The first sip was overpowering but then it got a little better as I drank it with Diet Coke. Needless to say I haven't purchased it again:

I am a huge fan of spiced rum I can enjoy this one but it stays in the cabinet most of the time.

Nice, but given the Australian price tag it's OK, I'll buy a bottle but it's no amazing sipper

Anybody who likes cherry coke, this tastes like it when mixed with Dr Pepper! Delicious mixed drink, and bonus, my wife loves it also.

Really cheap but great rhum to mix with coke!
This rhum makes it right for enjoying party with friends
Even though I prefer to drink my rhum dry, this one can be brought anywhere for any occasion.

Najlepszy spiced w swojej cenie. Dużo czekolady i wanilii. Może są sztuczne dodatki ale smakuje dużo lepiej niż podstawowe rumy spiced. Sailor Jerry gorszy!!
