Muy buen ron a buen precio, al menos acá lo puedes conseguir por menos de $30. Aunque muchos dicen que es igual al Barrel Proof, yo creo que tiene ligeras diferencias, este es un poco menos fuerte y con ligeramente más sabor.

I'm a little star struck by Havana Club and it was fitting for me to try this rum at the famous Castropol restaurant on the Malecon in Havana. I hope it's not a once in a life time experience.

Mais ça reste un rhum cubain. Plus doux que autres Cubay et Santiago de Cuba.

un ron seco con inpetud equilibrado notas a cafe tabaco,canela vainilla,con un retrogusto decente muy bueno para degustar.

One of the best Havana Club rums, but it's taste is a bit sharp, remindes me to some single malt whiskeys

Smooth, good body and flavor. Probably the best Cuban rum I have had.
currently discovering the wonderful world of rum and in time I will start rating the rums I enjoy in a decent way :-)

Had it in Havana - it's getting a bump in ratings for experience because the rum itself isn't that memorable and definitely not worth the price outside of Cuba.

As successor to Barrel Proof, this bottle deserve some attention. To start with bottle itself, it looks very very nice. Such a fabulous bottle! So we are stepping up here form Barrel Proof decent, but beautiful, old school design. As content - the rum - Selección is very delicious. It isn't as perfectly refined as Barrel Proof, but it is hell a lot delicious! Taste is complex, on the sweeter side, with all finesse you'd expect from very good aged rum.
