Selección de Maestros surely is no rhum for everyday. But which Cuban Rhum is it? Due to limitations of innovation and technical improvement over past decades the rhum is characterized by the typical dry taste of Cuban rhums.
This edition of Havanna Club is strong in taste, starts with a punch at first but gets followed by a long-lasting intensive taste of Wood, citrus and leather. I love this rhum and when I had enjoyed a special dinner it's the right choice to finish the evening with a cigar!
I have been going to Cuba yearly since 1994. Last year I discovered this gem. prior I was drinking the Ron Santiago 11 year. It pairs nicely with a Trinidad. I wish life was as full as this rum.

mile prekvapenie, havana club urobila naozaj slusny rum za celkom dobre peniaze. rum je relativne standard, stredna sladkost, nic nevycnieva, ale ani neprekvapi. rum ktory urcite ziadneho milovnika rumu neurazi a myslim ze to taka zlata stredna cesta. mozno by som tento "komercny" rum preferoval este aj pred "komercnou" zacapou 23 solera. cena priblizne rovnaka, ale HC sa mi zda poctivejsi rum. 7,8/10

An excellent Cuban. Goes well with cigars and nothing else.... please do not mix with things...
Amazing back to back with Aust best rum this was amazing. Traveled Cuba a year ago and tried so many non off the shelf rums that blew me away and this commercial rum
Reminded me of it - mid pallet that slips down the back with a warm slide - don't mix just sip !

Selected by the masters! The absolute best from all of the Havana Clubs that I’ve tried so far. For only $40 dollars this is a steal, unfortunately is not available in he states, super smooth, not added sugars or colorants in this, a truly amzing zipping spirit. If you ever have the oportunity of grabbing one do so.

I am not exactly fan of havana rums, but this one is realy piece of art. Well, not for everyone, as this kind of rum is little bit stronger or burning on the palate, but you can find the magic inside.
So if you are not a princess, who can drink only vanilla sweet liquers as Diplomatico (dont take it as an offense, I love diplomatico), this will be all right!
It smells of apricot and peaches.
"Well blended and well-balanced spirit that it’s smoothness shines through. There is very little roughness or aggressive spirit tones when sipped."
