Taste 6/10. Not bad better than Havana 7 for some maybe this is balance for me this is very midle taste with everything in small quantitys (spiciness, sweetnes and somewhat smoothness without big burn & maybe light and semi-dry).
Good for mixing and sipping. Nothing spectacular but decent effort by Havana Club
too much burn for the price and taste pretty watered down
Starts with great sweetness and ends with a slight saltiness. Also with a strong oaky finish, bit bitter towards the end.
Difficoult to notice the real flavor of this fantastic rum. First sip is an explosion of feelings, very strong and complex. After 2 minutes, you can notice oak wood, tobacco, cognac but mostly prune. The money is well spent, sure I'll buy another bottle in the near future! The only disappoint for me, is the alchool percentage. I mean, 3 or 4 % less, it would have been absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!
one of my favorites from havana club.
Aromatische Noten von dunklem Karamell, Kakao, Kaffee, süßem Tabak und braunen Gewürzen.
Milde Schärfe, unbedingt pur genießen!
I agree with most opinions, its a different class as the 7yo's.A friend bought it once ,bought in a duty-free shop as its almost not availible in Europe. Its far better then the other Havana Clubs i tasted, and the 45% isnt present. Its smooth in the throat and has a longer finish. If a Havana Club,go for this one
One of the Cuban finest selections. Very balanced on the palate with an oaky aftertaste. Packs 45% for a very pleasant and continuous kick as well :)
Der er skruet op for indtrykkene. Masser af krydderi, karamel, abrikos, og tobak! Knap så sød, men heller ikke tør.
Glad a friend smuggled some in from England. This stuff was pure, clean and simply wonderful.
A strong, solid body. Rich spice, tobacco taste that stays in the mouth for a while. It feels a little bit like a very good whisky...
Belle complexité, équilibre parfait, un pur rhum de tradition.
Lovely flavors. On the rocks or mix it with pepsi. Both works pretty well
Previously Havana Barrel Proof, Seleccion de Maestros is an incredible rum. It is my go to if I see it in a bar. Whether straight up or even mixed I love this stuff!
Big, round flavours of wood and treacle with the dry cut that Havana gives you.
Think this one is a blend of 15-35yo rums. This has everything you could ever want from a Cuban rum.
Purchased two bottles of this rum during a recent trip to Cuba. I had been wait8n* for a while to sample this rum and the wait was well worth it. This rum is simply delicious. Not the driest rum I’ve had but definitely not sweet. This is the best Cuban rum I’ve had so far. The woody taste is different from any other rum I’ve had and each sip lingers for a long time. I wouldn’t rate this a “10” but it certainly deserves a strong “9”.
Un sabor distinto al que estoy acostumbrado pero muy bueno, gran retrogusto, para degustar refrescado y experimentando y descubriendo los sabores de esta creación.
Compared to the other Havanna ages this one ist for me the only one you can drink in it's own. IT has a very smooth taste, rich flavour and ist Not top sweet.
Drunk this rum just before i went into a dance event were they were only selling captain morgan. It was Nice to have one of these
I read some good rating on WF few years ago. I don't know is the blend has been changed since or maybe sweetened but I found it tasteless and uninteresting. Light rums are sometimes subtle and complex, this one was just "empty".
This havana has a little of maestro for real. It is not great but it ain't bad either. I would say, try it yourself to make an opinion.
Really liked this one. It is dry and a little sharp. Smoke it with a big fat cuban and you'll feel like you are in Havana.
