The rum was a good rum. Which I am starting to believe we taste alot of "good" rums. For the price though it was not the best. Good flavor, good palate. Just good

but u wouldn't tell very smooth no burn hardly very easy drink at 50 pounds I think it's best I have had the 1st Cuban rum I love

I can't say this is the best rum on the planet, but in the USA it is a special treat to get a bottle of authentic Cuban Rum. Knowing that this rum is specially selected by the Maestros of Havana Club, I consider this a bit a pallet training to know what rum not soaked in used Jack Daniels barrels should taste like.

Caramel candy, tobacco, cocoa in aroma, the body copies the aroma plus the nuts (wallnut), woody in the finish.
