Very elegant stuff, far better than the 7 years old. Something like a perfect 'fresh-oaky' balance and citrusy notes on the tongue. Not too sweet, just fine.

Lovely first impression, it has a too strong finish for me.

In my opinion, it is at least 25% too expensive. Looks like we're paying extra for the "Havana" sticker. Moderately complex, moderately long finish. Overall enjoyable, but there are better rums in this price range. I bought it because I wanted to have it in my collection as an iconic famous brand, but if you just want to buy a good one in this price range, go for something else like Mount Gay or Doorly's.

Tento rum som dlho túžil ochutnať a splnil všetko čo som od neho očakával. Vôňa výrazná, hutnejšia a zemitejšia - drevo, tabák, kakao. To všetko sa premietne aj do suchšej chuťe. Záver kakao a drevo pre mňa tak akurát! Určiťe kupím aj flašu!!!

Iets sterker dan de gemiddelde rum die ik tot nu toe op heb. Maar wel een lekkere diepe smaak. Zacht van geur en ruikt naar vanille.
Lichte smaak van koffie.

Not bad at all. Try this one last night and was frankly expecting worse. I would like to give it another shot. But I think there’s better option in this price range. 7/10.

Rum that is not for everyone. High degree of alcohol, but good aftertaste.
