Havana Club Añejo Especial is a blend of rums aged for up to five years produced from the fermented molasses of sugar cane harvested in Cuba. The molasses is combined with yeast and water, distilled using column stills, and aged in white oak barrels.
Havana Club was founded in 1878 by Jose Arechabala and later nationalized after the Cuban Revolution in 1959.

Unrefined Rum but it's cheap as chips. Probably the best Rum I've had for under £15 a bottle. Good flavour and burn, I think better than the Havana 7
Unrefined but for the price it's incredible, I've paid €12 a bottle on occasion. After Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva this is my most bought bottle.
Also genuinely better than the 7.
Has a little more complexity than a Santiago de Cuba Anjeo which seems to score higher ratings but I found a little bland. Originally I rated this as a 6 but over time this has grown on me more so raising to a 7
A good mixer rum nit the best one from Havana that would be the 7 year old but decent enough
Nice to coctails. I dont like it so much to drink it straight.
Vyrazne sladsi, ale v pomeru k cene ji hodmotim lepe.
Good rum for mixing with cola. Nice quality for a nice price
This rhum is quite nice with cola! Not that good straight up!

Some oaky spicy notes.
"It’s very heavy with vanilla and the caramel and brown sugar notes are too much. The rum is quite smooth and not very rough."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
