Havana Club Anejo Especial

Color : Bright amber
Flavour : Ripe fruits, cacao, chocolat notes, light herbal touch, banana
Palate : Gentle, medium length, well balanced

I like to use it in cocktail, pairing it with the 3yrs old in tiki drinks.

Has a little more complexity than a Santiago de Cuba Anjeo which seems to score higher ratings but I found a little bland. Originally I rated this as a 6 but over time this has grown on me more so raising to a 7

Unrefined but for the price it's incredible, I've paid €12 a bottle on occasion. After Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva this is my most bought bottle.
Also genuinely better than the 7.

Unrefined Rum but it's cheap as chips. Probably the best Rum I've had for under £15 a bottle. Good flavour and burn, I think better than the Havana 7

Awesome versatile rum for unbeatable price tag. You can step up your Mojitos and Cuba libres with it or use it to train yourself for drinking rums neat. Rich rum taste, oaky but still with distinctive fruity sweetness. It's like Havana tried to do Spiced rum, with less annoying spicy taste and completely without spicing process (which covers up actual rum flavours).

Nice rum with ice and a slice of lime.

Not my favourite Havana club but it still makes a great rum and Coke.

Met de (hele redelijke) prijs in het achterhoofd blijft dit een favoriet voor een lekker glas rum, gewoon doordeweeks zonder franje. Kan eventueel nog heel goed in de mix maar ook lekker na opwarmen in de hand met wat drupjes water.

Great for mixing Cuba libra or with fever tree ginger beer lite ! Add a slice lime inexpensive a smooth nice run for price . When on offer get 2 !
