Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Amber rum, well flavoured for a seven year old. Some complain about the tobacco smoke taste and yet, to me it embodies what Cuban rum and culture are all about, This isn't anywhere near the best Cuban rum but, it is certainly the standard. Great mixer on a Saturday evening.

Bouche
L’attaque en bouche de ce 7 ans d'âge Havana Club est voluptueuse et fait preuve d'une grande douceur. Après l'attaque suit une explosion complexe de cacao raffiné, de vanille, de canne, de noisette et de fruits tropicaux caramélisés, soutenue par un arôme de chêne et d’épice tranchant et délicat.
Finale
A la fois intense, rond et velouté en bouche, ce rhum cubain associe des notes vieillies complexes de vieillissement à une fraîcheur rappelant la canne à sucre.
A bit sharp, but still long and well tasting Rum from Cuba. Good value for the money

Good rum but overrated due to good advertising. Barrel proof Havana trumps it.

Too good for cocktails.
It is a Ron to drink with Friends without to spend to much money
Perfect for every day mixing or even sipping on it own. It goes down pleasantly. The price is also pleasant.
