Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

I would not but this for my home. But if you are out and in the mood for a rum. Go for it. But I would say mix it. Its not much for a sipper in my opinion.

A very nice one to mix with a few drops of coca cola. Its gives your drink a much better thaste and finish than a regular dark rum.

I am a big fan of Havana Club in general and the 7 year old rum tastes very good for its age. Before you drink this, do not forget to spill some of the rum after you opened the bottle 'for God'. This is a typical Cuban tradition.

This rum isn't bad, but there are rums tastier than this. It's not overly sweet, has a nice aroma and taste. There is a bit of an alcoholic nip in the aftertaste.
Sippable, but more a rum for cocktails and such
Average, with nice aroma, to use on a weekday, when you feel like drinking a mix.

Shrnutí: Měl jsem miniaturu koupenou z Diosu a jsem rád, že jsem neutrácel za celou lahev, která je běžně k dostání v supermarketech. Není to nic uhlazeného, i přes určitou výraznost mě moc nezaujal, přijde mi roztěkaný, disharmonický. Poměr výkon/cena mi přijde velmi slabý. Je spousta lepších rumů v této cenové kategorii, levněji seženete dokonce Pampero Anniversario, které je kvalitou úplně jinde.
