Havana Club 7-Year

I think this is the best entry level to understand aging mechanism, also peculiar because in Cuba is a lot better than elsewhere (I’d give it 7 bottles to cuban one), where is present a prominent alcoholic note. Golden and round, best to start understanding in more complex rums.

drank this quite a bit, trumps every white rum i ever tasted, but noting to get excited about, take a goslings any day to mix over this rum.

To sweet for me / Doesn't leave that alcohol freshness in throat :)

It seems like a good drink to have with cigars or pipe tobacco, however, I find it far too dry. I much prefer the taste of sweeter, more desserty rum.

For the money it sells in Europe, you can buy really tasty and interesting rum. Alcoholic enough, you have to wait for calming it down, but that doesn't help much.

Personally think this is a bit overpriced ... many similar tasting rums on the market with better value for money ... not bad at all just average

I think it is not a bad one to start, even though I don't find it very tasty
