Havana Club rum is produced in Cuba, where the company was founded in 1878 by José Arechabala. The company was nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution and now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

A great addition to any mojito, and I'm reluctant to waste any better rum on a cocktail. It's a great mixer that brings a bit of flavour and thankfully without the overpowering tobacco taste of the 7. I'd probably chose this over the 7, not that it's by any means a sipper, but at least it's a more useful spirit than its older sibling.

Not your fanciest rum, but for the price, it's really good. Nice bold smooth flavour. Recommend with a lime twist

Havana wants to replace Blanco with this one. Blanco is already kind of difficult to buy in CZE. In my eyes its good idea, 3 is surely more interesting taste-like, but some bartenders say that the hint of wood is something they dont want in there and they switched to different white rums instead of accepting the 3. I dont know what to think about it. Time will show.
