Old Nick Caribbean Gold

Tasted it today but unfortunately i was not impressed, it is indeed Golden, however how much of this gold is not from Caramel is to be asked, the nose is weak and not impressive, on the tongue it is weak as it is smooth but not due some artisanal process but rather of over dilution. yes it is a 37.5% abv. my opinion on those is negative, sugar must be added to compensate for loss of distillate, that sugar is apparent and present. there was a faint hint of caramel and banana flavour real or artificial i can't say as everything else in it, it is barely noticeable, to conclude, it is flat, and too weak, finish is brief. for me it deserves more the term Liquor than Caribbean Gold Rum, since this is allowed and standards are not set, i would say it fits the 37.5% sweet golden shelf niche with Captain Morgan's parallel golden offering. as comparing these weaklings, perhaps the value for money would be better with Old Nick, but it's only a little bit cheaper. it is not for sipping, it is not for mixing, what is the point mixing a weak Rum Liquor as it is already absent of almost any alcoholic kick. will give it another chance someday but right now my rating is 3.5/10

Конечно не для того, чтобы потягивать, а с какой-то закуской. Он не тяжёл (37,5%), несколько угрюм, но отвращение не вызывает. Последствия минимально негативны.
