Diplomatico Mantuano

Darker rum with caramel like taste. Sweet on tongue but with stronger alcohol aroma in the end. It isn't bad rum but that alcohol aroma makes him quite strong. Not bad choice but in this price level you can make better choice.

This is good rum to drinks i think. Love the power of drinks

I am not as impressed by this one. They market is as a mixing rum that goes well as a sipper too. I will probably just use it as a mixer.

Good to accompany with a grilled pork and cheese..

You get just what you pay for. Decent rum, fit nice with easy pipe smoking.

Nice spicyness but a bit too sharp on the alcohol for sipping. Wonderfully fruity and sweet aroma, that is really brought out in with some coke or in a Dark & stormy on the other hand.

Není tak jemné jako zelené diplo, ale chutná skvěle. Každý doušek překvapuje chuti.

Rhum avec peu ou sans sucre ajouté (<10g/L) et trouvable facilement pour 20-30€.
Il semble être la version sans sucre ajouté de son frère (Reserva Exclusiva), et retire justement ce trop de douceur artificiel, malheureusement, ce "trop" est ce qui fait de Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva un rhum sympathique et agréable à boire (si l'on aime ce genre de rhum), laissant derrière des notes basiques et plutôt oubliables sans pour autant être désagréables.
Pourquoi pas, ce n'est pas un excellent rhum, pour le prix ce n'est pas choquant, mais c'est une bonne expérience pour comprendre ce qu'il y a sans les additifs de son frère. Simple et basique est son nom.

Pretty much fine rum for any evening, not the exclusiva, but still not bad.
