Diplomatico Mantuano

Όπως - πολύ σωστά - είπε ένας φίλος πρόκειται για ένα ρούμι όπως το diplomatico Res. Excl. χωρίς ιδιαίτερη γλύκα . Εγώ προσωπικά το προτιμώ από την Res. Excl. , διότι μου αρέσουν τα λιγότερο γλυκά ..... παρόλα αυτά δε μπορώ να το βαθμολογήσω πάνω από 8 . 8,5 για μένα
Ένα ρούμι που αξίζει τα λεφτά του και τη φήμη του !!!!

Beautifully smooth rum, perfect for sipping over ice. (I keep mine in the freezer).

Just open the bottle and... wow... nice surprise...I was not expecting such nice full taste... not sharp... will go for one more...

This pours a rich mahogany colour and has a wonderful nose. Diplomatico rums have always suited my taste, so I was hesitant when they replaced the Reserva with Mantuano. The Reserva made a better rum and coke ,but the Mantuano is a bit smoother ,making a better sipper. Not as sweet as DER but just as good.

A pub in my home town keeps a bottle of this behind the bar, and as such i have found myself fairly regularly ordering this rum with a ginger ale mixer, and it is a great combination for a reasonable price.
I have tried it neat and it is perfectly sippable no one taste overpowering the overall mix, lightly spiced, hints of caramel, dark chocolate, treacle all combine to make it very palatable. Some may call it bland, I call it well balanced.

I really enjoy this rum. I look forward to trying others from this distiller. As always, I prefer my rum over ice with a healthy splash of Coke.

This is the best quality rum I have had at this price point. Strong flavours and nose at first but by your third sip its a smoother. Hints of coco or Carmel in the finish. I will be adding this to my collection to age.

I like Reserva Exclusiva, but Mantuano proved to be a good option.
The distillate has quality, and has less sugar than Reserva Exclusiva.
Simple flavor, but cheap for the quality it has.
I recommend.

It's one of the first rum's I tried that was above €20 and it tasted great with coke. It's strong but after every sip you want more.
