Green Island Spiced Gold

Brought a bottle back from Mauritius and too scared to try it again. When in paradise the cocktails and drinks did flow, but is suspect it will not live up to the memory

Green Island Spiced Gold gives you such a strong vanilla burst to the nose and throat. Bottle looks cheap, label looks cheap, and surprise surprise, the actual rum is very cheap. Okay as a mixer, but quite harsh as a neat sipper.

A fairly standard rum and fine for mixinf with coke or ginger ale. It was dirt cheap in Mauritius, so worth picking up if you can find it cheap enough.

your standard spiced rum, great if you don't like the sweetness of other basic spiced rums (oakheart, morgan's, sailor jerry...). Also the lack of sweetness makes it a good candidate for mixing with ginger beer

This is a great spiced rum for those who want a more natural tasting drink.
