It’s great quality and nicely smooth. However there’s something off about the aftertaste. I would however drink again

It has a strong nose with esters, the taste is both smooth and spicy and there is a long spicy aftertaste. At actually can be sipped if you do not mind the slight alcohol burn at the end, after a few glasses it almost vanishes and the middle palate feeling turns towards smooth and creamy. Primarily this is a decent mixer, and well crafted rum without sugar added.

Not good. Not even for a mixer.
Strong taste needs work and more flavour, not bad drinking it with a mixture

Unfortunately the golden color was the best part. All and all its not bad but not good either. Only good for mixing.

Quite tasty as a sipper with ice, to my surprise, but there is a little bit of a burn after it goes down.

Lighter than I expected. Brilliant rum for a Cuba Libre. Didn’t like it neat, but on the rocks was ok. Underwhelming as a sipper. I’d buy it again, but would probably only pull it out in the summer for mixed drinks. Nothing special, but definitely not bad by a long shot. Your mileage may vary, but I personally enjoyed it.

Tastes like a natural rum, like cdi west indies bot more herb.
Smell: vanilla, citrus, dry fruits
Taste: vanilla, citrus, caramel/toffee, bitterness

It's gold. It has no character. It sits weeping silently at the back of my liquor cabinet, waiting for someone to take it out and notice it every once in a while. There's just not much of a good reason to do so.
I inherited a bottle of this after a party, and that's exactly what it's good for. Save it for when your Aunt Edith who drinks boxed wine comes over for dinner, and you're making mixed drinks for everyone. Use this in her mai tai and use something good in every one else's. Use the saved money to buy a nice bottle of Kirk & Sweeney's or something like that.
