Bermuda | Dark | 40% ABV

The James Gosling family business first produced Gosling Black Seal rum in 1806, and it is now the oldest surviving business on the island of Burmuda.

Gosling 'Black Seal' rum received it's name from the black wax originally used to seal the bottles. It is Bermuda's most widely exported product and considered the nation's national drink.

If you don't already know about this rum, start researching. PERFECT rum for the Dark and Stormy drink of Bermuda. I always have a bottle of this to make dark and stormy's when the mood is right!

A very sweet dark. Usually drink this on the rocks with ice however it does fine with soda.

I'm a relative newbie wrt sipping rum. But you cannot beat Goslings for dark n stormies. I also like Goslings ginger beer. Other ginger beers put me off. Stick with the winning formula, plus 1/2 of a lime.

I know this is the only rum officially allowed in a dark and stormy, and I can't disagree. On its own it's basically a thick black concoction, but it's perfect in a d&s.

No other option for a Dark 'n' Stormy, and not just for legal reasons. I'm annoyed at Gosling's for sweetening their ginger beer with HFCS and for that reason Bundaberg is my first choice. BTW, this is also great in a classic Painkiller.

I really like this rum, but admit that I first tried it on a cruise to Bermuda. We've been to Bermuda several times since so this rum, and the drinks I make with it, remind me if those trips. I stand by my assessment though. Great choice for mixing.

I probably like this rum more than most. The color is a bit off putting but the taste is superb. Highly recommend for mixing.

I really like this rum. I like it better than many of the โ€œpremiumโ€ rims out there. The price point is great, too. Best in a Dark and Stormy (which the drink is named for) or. Cuba Libre.

Nice sweet dark rum. I had it with sprite and could taste the molasses.
