An extraordinary nose on the fresh cane and exotic fruits. On the palate, the alcohol is present but is not aggressive. It must still leave the time of aerate before drinking. A very long final, superb, on complex notes. This rum is a killer, the very long fermentation of 3 months gives this rum aromas of extreme complexity. Unidentified Drinking Object ;-)

Enjoyed two glasses of Habitation Velier Forsyths Worthy Park 151 Rum while in San Francisco. High end bottle and label design. Golden color. Funk, brine, fruits and then some more funk to your nose and palate. Extremely strong burn at the end being such a dry rum. Unique for sure. Not my cup of tea by any measure.

N- A whooping 75.5% overproofed spirits. Fresh pressed, buttered walnut, toasted cane leaf that translate to sourish marmite, highly vegetal, mossy as well the drift of mints. (22/25)

P- Eyes watering strength that spread a thick coat of chalky and oily spicy mustard or wasabe on the tongue. Hot mustard seeds fragrant mingled well with the earthy green notes for an explosive mouthfeel. (21/25)

F- Medium-long, stiff and masculine with burning tartness and sweet coat. (21/25)

Balanced- Water enhance the freshness and green nuance, but also develop an odd milkiness on palate. (21/25)

This one is a knock out. And not only because of the ABV. The funk is immense!
