God smak, stark men inte för stark. En god och trevlig rom.
A restricted release blend of rum produced in Cuba and the Dominican Republic. A very limited release of 2,000 bottles worldwide.
Tasting note: Buttery Spice, Smoke, Coffee and Molasse
Astea de la West Indies cam seamana intre ele. Destul de tanar dar cu arome simple si fresh, fara zahar adaugat, oricand bine venit on the rocks! Un rom fin cu un aftertaste scurt dar placut.
A lighter amber colour in an unique bottle with a very nice cork. On the nose it has a light smell of column still. This is a non chill filtered spirit but is very clear without sediment. The taste is quite strong with well balanced flavours, but I found it to have a long finish.
Rum light yellow in color, delicate aroma. Slightly sweet, mild, 43% A blend of rums from Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Numbered bottle. It is one of a series of rums from different continents, produced by West Indie Rum and Cane Marchants. I will definitely buy more bottles from the series.
Un nez légèrement sec et frais une bouche légèrement épicé plutôt sec.
Un rhum bien équilibré.
interesting notes, is too young in my opinion, nice flavours, short aftertaste
My first visit of the series was "Rum & Cane British West Indies XO" that I struggled to finish but must admit it caught my attention by unique British heavy flavor. This one is more "Spanish style" (sweeter, rounder, smokey, overall not so heavy). At first it was a pleasant surprise but by the end of the bottle the rum became decently boring.
Somewhat cheap paper box explains what should we smell and feel but I can't recognize any predominant aspect - can just say both flavor and taste are awesome and just enough sweet.
If there is really no sugger added I find the final decent sweet and very rounded flavor being a good "hidden material" purchase. 7/10 downgraded from 8/10 but still happy to try (as we all do, right? ;-)
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The bottle indicates this is a blend of rum produced in Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Loved it. Distinct taste, smooth to drink straight but with enough presence to let you know its a rum. Enjoyed 3 bottles here in Ontario and wish I could get more.
