Single cask, which yielded 222 bottles.
Pot still, 46% (we could expect typical Fiji flavors)
Distilled 2003 and bottled in Denmark in 2015
A nice pot still rum, if you like extravagant rum I reccomend this one.
This rum has typical Fiji pot still aromas (salted tomatoes).
The taste is not very smooth, it's strong and spicy. The 19y old Fiji from TheRumCask is much more smoother. But this one is not bad, I like strong rum. Fiji aromas are light and bright (not very dark and intensive), that's why this combination is quite good.
It's between an 8 and 9.
8.5 would be a good rating. I think some more years in the cask would be great for this rum.
But it's not bad at all, pepper and spice are nice with vegetable notes.
Smell: plastic, pickled vegetables (salted tomatoes), citrus, sesame, some white oak
Taste initial: citrus, salted tomatoes (vegetables), pepper, woodpolish
Finish: sesame, bitterness, rubber, spice, ester
