This is so smooth on it’s own, just love it. But it truly also makes amazing mixed drinks. One of the most versatile rums on the market. One of my all time favorites. I will always have a bottle behind my bar.

Well.... if this is what it’s like to be really bad, spank me and send me to bed. This is a very enjoyable rum.

View: Pours light-to-medium gold.

Nose: Amber and spice

Initial Tasting: Excellent spice, almost gingerbread-like.

Body: Faint vanilla, nutmeg. A bit of clove there, too.

Fade: Sweet, surgery finish. This one is a ton of fun.

Surprisingly smooth and sweet. Finish is comparable to a sweet bourbon without the bite.

I’ve been starting to collect different rums now for several months. Tasting only on the rocks for sipping. I have to say this is my favorite, easiest to drink (almost too easy) rum. Almost no burn, no overpowering sweetness just a real nice rum. As a reference I also like Zacapa 23, Kirk and Sweeney, Papa’s.... maybe I’m biased cuz it’s made in Florida

I've had Doc's twice now. It is smooth but it's very sweet to my palette. To me this is an after dinner sipping rum, like an aperitif.

I’m honoured and glad to be the first to rate a rum. I dont want to destroy somebody’s hard work and reputation. It doesn’t have a great smell and the taste is a note too sweet for me. Glad I found it and at 26$ a bottle it’s worth a try. Will I buy another bottle ... probably not.
