Havana Club Pacto Navio

The fact that this rum aged on desert wine barrels makes it a bit sweet, however subtle, not too obvious. Great taste.

The taste is so smooth, almost to smooth. There is no significant taste that takes the lead.
Sweet and a boring mixer.

Picked this up when leaving Cuba without having tasted it. Thought it could have been better for the price. But still a pleasant sipping rum. Light amber, maple syrup and oak on the nose, slightly bitter oilseed and lemon on the tongue.

Quite famous one, with good marketing and really nice bottle and box from one of the most well-known brand, but .. For me it has that "medically chemical" aroma in taste :-/ In the smell you can really feel the grapes (that is nice) but it is not enough for me :)

Rhum moyen. Belle couleur. Attaque un peu le nez. Sucré et Aqueux en bouche

Sehr „harter“ Rum, welcher sehr einen alkoholischen Abgang hat. Definitiv nicht mein Favorit.

Better than the reviews here, but quite expensive for the somewhat common qualities.

Normally I find that Havana knows how to make their rums. But this one seems to be the mistake they made or something. It is a weird rum to my opinion.
