Nekem kissé erős,alkoholos,de igazi, eredeti rum feelinget ad!
This is proof that overproof can be lovely drinken neat. I love it, it blows you away and still keeps it taste. Great flu killer.
I use this mostly as a mixer for extra punch and abv. This is a great add in. Need to try by itself.
First impression: that's strong version of their Original Dark just less funky.
Absolutely smooth, easy to drink for the 69°, but feels like it has some additives.
Likely, not our every day drink, still something recommend to try.
Cheers and happy Easter!
P.S. going back to pure sugar cane Arcane Extraroma
Awesome taste with high voltage. A little bit too strong.
It is strong. The first thing that hits you is the vanilla notes very similar to Stroh Jaggertee.
As a sipper it will put hair on your chest.
I love Cuba libre so it works well for that if you need a kick in your cocktail.
The story on the bottle is wonderful, it takes you back to sea fairing takes of old.
Uhhh!
very good for cocktails
I feel it's good to have some overproof rum in the collection for home blending 69% ABV
Paid £35 2021 I own a bottle and only rate what I have bought
Love this Brand they really make an effort they make one of the best pineapple rums Which will have it's use's and is worth having in stock in summer months
It’s very intense, almost sickly sweet.
"It’s a sweet yet almost bitter, molasses heavy nose."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Without question this is aimed at the tiki resurgence that has steadily been picking up steam. Really whats not to like about tiki as long as it's not exclusive. Yeah,,,,, well as with anything retro especially those things dealing in specific styles, some folks dive in head first and others see ways to turn a profit. There's no telling to what ends an obsessed time traveler will spend in order to out do their fellow club members. Fortunately everyone benefits from such escapism, at least in this case we all do.
If you love funky estery dunder rum such as Smith and Cross to the point that you consider it a fine sipper, as I, but sometimes wish it had a bit more smoke and more molasses.... this may just get you there. By every account of the marketing jargon it's primary target will have you floating it in a delicious concoction. BUT WAIT! it ain't a bad sipper, though I do get a nagging bit of sacrine in the finish. Not so mach as to be a deal breaker by any means. Really what can you ask for in a 69% abv dark full liter bottle of rum priced at $30? I didn't expect this much so I'm happy.
BTW on the label they have lovingly supplied us with a nose and flavor profile just to the right of the R. Crumb like profile illustrations depicting those involved in this achievement. I'd say they left out a huge dose of black licorice. But hey that just my palate.
