Daufuskie Island rum gold edition has a light golden colour. The taste is not harsh but has a strong agricultural hay taste that I personally dislike.

A little disappointed in this Daufuskie Island rum after having the spiced. The Gold taste like a Bourbon that is young and needs a little age. No real rum flavor here at all. Pass this up and buy the spiced.
