molasses. dry. 42% 84 proof
i smell grape, caramel, milkchocolate and apricot.
i taste some chocolate, spices, oak, pepper and raisin. bitter elements.
8/10 - subtract 5 points if you love the range of the sweet rums like diplomatico.
a light rum, maybe half pot still and half column still. typical elements of that continent without the sweetness. maybe a little bit too much roughness inside. complex and exciting. at first you get all the chocolate notes, then the spiciness and then the fruit. great combination.
a real rum blend with every drop 15 years inside!
