The rum with "stubborn head", gets me more and more into sipping him. This family of ex-Brit colony rums drew my attention with distinguishing, subtle bottle and unusually pale color with big prize award label on it - must have been awarded for quite some different year/model though as really way below average (and quite expensive) drink. Not entirely bad material, bittery, heavy and strong, just not my cup of tea (rum), gets better and better but I am anyway finished with this brand (forawhile). Also it is not so easily distinguishable from numbers of similar style (way cheaper) rums. The fact you hardly mistake it with others is also a positive. Still trying to fall in love here... (4.5/10)
A tipical clasic british rum. Heavy, strong, brutal and full of flavour.
Citrus and vanilla on the nose. More astringent than the Rum & Cane French Overseas offering.
Golden champagne color in the glass reminiscent of Jamaican rum, but states XO Barbados & Trinidad. Interesting scent again akin to Jamaican rum but no harsh alcohol scent. First sip neat pretty distinct British navy notes slightly harsh. Not great not terrible tips scale to 6. Would not kick it out of bed.
Vanille banaan scherpe smaak eerder richting whisky
Docela prudkej, lehkej, mladej, v chuti vanilka, karamel.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Very light in colour , almost a silver. Typical British rum smell in the glass but not in taste. In fact I really struggled to find any discernible flavours at all. Harsh bite and suitable only as a mixer in my humble opinion.
