Chuť: Vanilka, lehounce dřevo a sušené ovoce. Velmi jemná.
Dozvuk: Závan kořenitosti a nálož sušeného ovoce (rozinky, meruňky). Střední
Sladkost: 0/3

Velice intenzivní dubová chuť s náznakem ovoce a koření.

I've been hunting this one for at least 6 months.
The nose reminds me of the 12yr Rare Cask but lighter. Soft vanilla, banana and spice. Unlike the Rare Cask, those don't transfer over to the taste as much. I get a toffee up front that's followed by a peppery spice that has a light hint of vanilla in the background.

This rum has a slight burn in the finish. Not recommended.

Not the best by far, but value for money it's great.
Can be sipped, but easier with a mix.
Would buy again

I use a lot of Jamaican Rums in my Tiki drinks. I like the Appleton 8 when they call for aged Jamaican rum.
Surprisingly spicy on the tongue. Strong notes of black pepper and oaked heat.
"Has a lovely smooth entry which quickly heats up. The initial notes of pineapple and dark almost to ripe banana give way to spicy heat. The flavours linger and coat the taste buds with hot spice."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I guess I'm just not a fan of the Jamaican style of rums. I will never stop trying something new if they get reasonable reviews and ratings, but I have had many better.
