I feel like this rum should be better, but when the ad says "We use only Texas molasses" I get a little skeptical. This rum tasted alot like a whilsky to me, but for mixing I'm sure it would be fine, in a mojito or whatever.
To be fair, Treaty Oak makes a "Barrel reserve rum" which I have not had the occasion to try. It appears to be aged, or at least not a light rum.
