Not a bad one in my opinion. Smooth. Not very outspoken, but enjoyable. Light. Easy to sip. Some tones of sweet spices. Apparently my taste differs from the crowd. This was no bad buy at all. Not the best, but not bad

I like this Rum, it is good quality for the price. Very smooth feel to it initially, then a bit fiery aftertaste, but not in a bad way. Not overly sweet like a lot of Rums can be . Hints of dark chocolate, nothing else major going on. It is not overly exciting, but it certainly does not disappoint either. I have been sipping it neat and it tastes fine.

Hefty paint thinner taste washes over the palate. The subtle banana notes typical of a flor de cana are present. Actually quite lovely as an aftertaste. Wouldn't exactly recommend, but will do for an affordable cocktail mixer.

Aroma: alcohol, barrel, tobacco, honey, flowers, vanilla. But the first sharpness spoils the impression.
Taste: enveloping, bitter, not suitable for sipping.
Aftertaste is pleasant even sweet. There is a limitation of the desire to drink a lot - stomach hard from the roughness of rum.

Perhaps the best value out there in a reasonably aged rum for a good price.

Reasonable rum overall. Will work with mixers, or over rocks, etc. Far superior to other options in the same class. Not overly complex, but a rock or two mellow it out and removes any burn. I've had the 7 as well and didn't feel the need to go that route. (albeit not side by side)

The oak is not too overpowering but not my thing. Transitions to some dissapointing molasses very quickly and then gives way to a burn that is not very smooth or eventful

První rum byl odsud poprvé exportován do Venezuely, Kostariky a středoamerických států v roce 1959.

V letech 1963 a 1965 prošel lihovar v Chichigalpě rozsáhlou modernizací.

It's ok as a mixer and I mean ok at a stretch there is a strong aroma of ethanol and you can feel that I'm the taste whether alone or mixer but it's not as bad as others can be picked up for £15 in supermarkets

This is the best rum I've ever had, my brother brought it back from Niquagua, so so good.

Resonable for that price. I tried almost all from flor de cana...that's the cheapest and worst. But still for that price good to mix with coke.

Was bought as a present, after tasting I don't think I'll bother buying one for myself. Smells of nothing but ethanol and tastes of absolutely nothing as well. All you get is a nasty burn. Somehow manages to make diet coke taste like rola cola. This might be useful in a cocktail with some other strong ingredients but nothing else.
