Rum light brown in color. Pleasant aroma. Slightly dry for me. Slightly sweet with no added sugar.

For the price point, I'm definitely going with Plantation XO 20, Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva, Zaya and more. It is good just not great.

I was a little skeptical of this since Flor de Cana has gotten a lot of bad press for what they call "18 year". That said, the nose was very nice with notes of nuts, caramel and chocolate that left me holding off my first sip for quite a while. The first taste was sweet but not overly which then brings in some spiciness and tobacco.

All in all I liked it but I'm not sure if I would seek it out and buy in the future.

Good one but definitely not for me. I enjoy more flavors especially at this age on a rum

I like this, but it comes across more like a whiskey than a rum. I prefer the Flor De Cana 12 over this one.

Dost silný rum, pro mě horší než 12. Ostrý dojezd.

This is my intro to Nicaragua rums... nice bottle... great color... nice smell... smooth ... for me little bit more sharp...

Zraje metodou slow-aged v sudech z amer. bílého dubu po bourbonu.

Aroma: Lihově skořicové, květinové, v pozadí káva?
Chuť: Pražené ořechy, medově trpká
Dozvuk: Lehce káva, čokoláda, dubové dřevo. Lehce trpký, dobrý, středně dlouhý.
Sladkost: 1/3

Dobrý rum, zaujal. V budoucnu možná pořídím celou láhev. 7,5b

I finally got to try some. It’s got a lot going for it, it’s in the drier side for those that don’t like sweeter rums, has unique flavors. But it has to mellow and breathe in the glass more as others have mentioned. Sometimes I’m a little too impatient to wait for it. In my opinion, for the price; I shouldn’t have to do that.
