Den här är riktigt god men inte så pass mycket godare än XO så att det motiverar det dyrare priset.

A total and complete rhum. Extra-dark colour and a sweet, balanced taste

It has similarities with Zacapa XO old version but further than age it is also a bit sweeter & more fruity surprisingly!! It has the best complexity compared to other similar with long aging rums as Quorhum 30, Malteco 1987, Diplomatico Ambassador & El Dorado 21. It is aged in bourbon, charred Whiskey, wine, cognac & cherry barrels and all this makes it very unique, rich & round!! The scent is close to Metaxa Private Reserve (new version). Roayal is a touch better but with 4 times up the price thats ridiculous expensive!! In conclusion it is my favorite rum together with El Dorado 25 which is spicier, sweeter and a bit less complex.

Výsledný rum má krásně plnou vůni i chuť čokolády, pečeného kokosu a mandlí. Závěr je pak správné dlouhý, nasládlý, exotický. Vážně královská lahev.

As all Zacapa's more on the sweet side, but if thats what you are looking for then this is worth of having even with this price.

Vyvážená chuť s lehce dřevitou vůní, pije se dobře, bez pachuti, nebo špatné dochuti. Bohužel ničím nezaujme, to je ale u Zacapů tradice. Rozhodně nedoporučuji kupovat celou láhev.
