Abuelo XV Tawny Port Cask Finish

Nice job again for Abuelo. Friendly and welcoming rum to the palate. Great finish.

This was the first sipping rum that I purchased. It's smooth with a nice port finish.

Very good quality rum. The taste is so bright and deep. But so sweet for me. It's perfect for digestive on Christmas

Very balanced rum with hints of chocolate and vanilla. Not too sweet. Easy sipping. The port comes nicely through

Medium Dry, with full sweet red grapes taste. Very woody. Long finish. Superb color, great high notes, one can really feel the Tawny Porto wine in it.

Fantastic and complex. So close to a 9 but just lacking a minuscule amount of depth and finesse on the finish. Same as the cognac finish: so close to being great. Decent value, grab a bottle.

Eyes: dark amber, Nose: Carmelish but with hints of dried apricots. Mouth: quite dry and sourish with a lot of raisins notes, not too sweet, yet complex with a long finish.

Es un muy buen, con aromas de azúcar, frutas y especias, de sabor equilibrado y dulce ligeramente.

This is a very fruity expression blackcurrant and redcurrant come through powerfully but very nice.

What a treat! Abuelo really hit the right spot with the 3 different cask finish Rums! Can't give none of the three less than an 8!!
