Kept hearing adverts on radio etc so expectation was high. Unfortunately weren't for me
Great branding but the liquid is just not all that.
I used to enjoy my local branch of 'The Rum & Crab Shack', who's owner created this rum. However, the pricing of this generic and sweet spiced rum is down to clever marketing and gives false expectations of quality that unfortunately isn't there. It's a clear upgrade on Morgan's Spiced and the like, but so it should be at twice the price. Sailor Jerry is a superior drink plus cheaper, so I'd struggle to recommend anyone goes out of there way to buy Deadman's Fingers Spiced. The other exotic flavours really don't interest me and I can only imagine they will be even sweeter.
Pas dans ma palette comme rhum épicé, pas un rhum de dégustation. C'est un rhum pour faire des mix.
Dead Man's falls right in the category of a good spiced rum perfect for Rum and Cokes or simply cocktails. Nothing super special when it comes to flavour, could have some more spice but nothing to really complain about here.
Top spicy rum, there are various dead man flavours but this is my favourite
Stunning balance between the spices and the sweet, caramel notes. Although it has to be said that drinking this rum with a sweet mixer makes for too sweet a drink. The cinamon, nutmeg and hints of orange come together well balanced. Extremely smooth rum, easy to drink neat.
Pohodové pití , spousta ovoce a kořeni v chuti i vůni
This rum is very enjoyable for a budget rum. It's rich and smooth with notes of vanilla, caramel, brown sugar and saffron.
It’s not all vanilla but the other notes are equally safe and equally popular. Cinnamon, citrus peel and some very sweet caramel.
"In actual fact the orange peel/marmalade notes really shine through. It’s reasonably complex – some nice more natural tasting notes of cinnamon, brown sugar and a little saffron spice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
