Decent spiced rum, very easy to drink and pretty cheap. Better than most other spiced in this price range
You’d expect to a taste more consistent. However the rum initially refreshes the taste buds with a sweet nice aroma but then becomes dull through the aftertaste
43% North America Version.
Nose - Christmas cake, vanilla, some burn, warm spices, carmel, musk, sugar.
Taste - Warm spices, orange peel, burnt orange, burnt sugar, some burn but not unbearable, lingering finish, sweet but not too sweet.
Opinion - Goes good with ice or with Coke, one of the better spiced rums I’ve found, I keep reaching for it. I would recommend picking it up if you see it in the states.
Truly one of the most unique spiced rums I've tried, with orange and vanilla being the primary flavors. This rum is definitely worth the try.
It îs the best rum you can buy for that money. Much much better than captain morgen and with the same price.
Very very goood for only 10 pounds in Romania. Recommend
Enjoy this mixed with coke, it’s quite strange at first but it does grow on you. Could not drink it neat however, worth trying and is great for the price
Very enjoyable drink. This is my go-to rum for everything including sipping neat and drinking with mixers, although mixing with cola is what i most commonly do. It is very well priced in most places, usually being found for around £20, or sometimes a little less, so even though it's probably not going to blow you away it is definitely one of the best rums you can get at this price point. Definitely prefer this to Captain Morgan's.
Tried it as a sipper with no mixer. Not too strong to make me choke. Moorish
It’s not all vanilla but the other notes are equally safe and equally popular. Cinnamon, citrus peel and some very sweet caramel.
"In actual fact the orange peel/marmalade notes really shine through. It’s reasonably complex – some nice more natural tasting notes of cinnamon, brown sugar and a little saffron spice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The nose is ....different and not appealing. I am thinking 4 rating. The first sip is pungent with an odd mix of cinnamon, orange and molasses. I am thinking 5. The next sip starts to interest me. I have another. Nutmeg comes crashing through. Suddenly I realize this has some complexity and depth. Some nice bite too. I am thinking 6. The nutmeg really lingers. Nice finish. What was once a 4 has really won me over. Different. Good, in fact, very good.
