Lots of vanilla and caramel, a little too dessert like for me. Very smooth and enjoyable still.

It’s a beautiful, smooth rum. However A 21 year El Dorado is nearly as good at a better price.

Nose: Too much alcohol in it, smells a bit like 90 proof.
Taste: okish, the persistency of strong unrefined alcohol is still present
Finish: good
Final score: 6,5 out of 10
Comments: at a whopping 175 GBP a bottle is not really what you would expect. Read other comments and got excited so purchase was made! Disappointed! Very strong smell of unrefined alcohol is persistent in this rum. Taste does not convince. Can’t possibly believe this is a 30 y.o. Rum.

It’s a bit pricey though you can’t go wrong with this bottle.

This is a truly a decadent pleasure - long savoured caramel aftertaste, take your time with this. Bought at auction and don’t regret it.
