To start off, the bottle looks like a regular bottle of spiced rum. Not too much when it comes to design, but simple enough to say that it isn't just a knock off. The color is perfectly golden for a spiced rum. With these two things in mind, I wanted to try it. When I open the bottle, the aroma was that of opening a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Maybe my nose isn't as sensitive as some when it comes to subtle aromas, but it was assaulting. Taking a sip proved to be a bad idea, but I can hardly take my liquor straight anymore, thanks to years of drinking way too much. These days, I mix my rums, which allows me to actually enjoy it. I mixed this one with Cherry Coke Zero. The spices go well with the cherry mix, but it takes a lot less than say captain or sailor to get this point across. Too much, and the drink is ruined.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A very ethanol heavy rum. Risidual sweetness disturbingly masked by an overpoweringly strong alcohol burn. Mixed with Coke Zero, the flaws are masked and helps compliment the sweetness beneath the strong burn. Helps return the flavor of the mix to that of a standard Coke. Would only recommend as a mix.
